Most visitors won’t buy or sign up on their first visit. They often come back several times, look around and compare options before they decide. If you only track the final sale or signup, you can’t really tell how your site is performing.
That’s why it helps to track smaller actions that show interest, like watching a demo video, visiting the pricing page or starting a form. These are often called micro-conversions. They can show which pages move people closer to deciding, even when final sales are low. If a blog post sends many readers to your pricing page, it may be doing more work than its direct sales suggest.
