Show how many people already use it

A hero wireframe with one line under the button that reads Used by 3,000 dental clinics, with an arrow to the number labeled one-line proof.

Building trust, especially close to CTAs, is super important for increasing your conversion rate on a marketing website.

A short line like “Used by 3,000 dental clinics” or “trusted by 50+ startups in SF” is one of the fastest forms of social proof, because it’s evidence that other people already trust you. It fits right under a headline or button, and readers take it in at a glance.

It tends to work best when the number is large for your market and specific to your audience. For example, “100 Venture Capital funds” can mean more to the right market than “10,000 investors,” because it tells visitors that high signal people already trust you. Keep the number updated as it grows, since an old number undersells you.
