Place trust signals near the ask

People tend to hesitate most right before they commit, like when they’re about to submit a form or enter their card details. When those small doubts show up, such as whether their data is safe or whether the product really works, it’s best to use some trust signals.

A security badge, a review rating, or a short guarantee placed beside the form or checkout button can answer those doubts. In contrast, the same signals tucked away in the footer usually do much less, since visitors aren’t looking at the footer while making a decision.
